A Warm Welcome

The smallest touch can change a look. Want to add a special, inviting touch to your front door? You can buy this decal(or one in similar size) for just $6. Made of a high quality outdoor vinyl, can be customized.

This design is on my front door. I thought it was the best way to add a warm welcome to my door in the simplest way. I can do decals for just about any surface - Windows, Tumblers, Coffee Mugs, Wine Glasses, etc. Contact me if you are interested in a gift for someone or something to treat yourself!

Bulletin Board Design

I did this design by request, for my Aunt's Sunday School class bulletin board. They had Superhero Sunday and I was happy to make it for her. This design is made out of a textured card stock. Please contact me if there is anything you would like me to make.

I will strive to get the design you are looking for, whether it be a banner for your child's first birthday, or a cake topper for a wedding. I will try my best to achieve the look you are wanting.

Easter Baskets/Storage Totes

Easter is just around the corner! For $10 you can get a customized basket for your child. Made with a high quality permanent vinyl. Can be customized!

I made these two baskets for my nephews, Carson and Zander. They have a Star Wars themed room and both love Star Wars. I figured that after Easter, they can use these for storage in their rooms.

Lots of New Things!

There has been a lot going on in my life, personal and business wise. A lot of things have happened over the last year and it's made me a stronger person and given me a drive to succeed at whatever I do, even more.

While I am not completely there at what I want to see happen with this business, I am slowly adding new products and options. I recently started doing vinyl works and card stock designs. I make decals for use on lots of surfaces, cutting boards, tumblers, wine glasses, window displays, home decor, a whole line of clothing, blankets, baby bibs, etc. I also do party/event supplies such as banners, backdrops, cake toppers and so much more! All of these can make the perfect gift! In the near future I hope to add even more to my lineup, including homemade jewelry.

Please be sure to check out my facebook page, instagram and twitter for updates. I will also be doing a giveaway soon so be on the lookout for that!

Organization Logo Design

I have a friend who asked me to do a logo design for her for her organization. Her organization is called "Special Deliveries For Autism" and it focuses on lending out "Baby Think it Over" (electronic dolls) for families of children with special needs. The program is for parents who are pregnant or want to add to the family but are worried how the child with special needs will react.

It's in the beginning stages and for now is local(out of North Dakota), but she hopes that she will be able grow and benefit families with special needs children all over the country someday. To learn more about her organization and how you may be able to help, visit her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SpecialDeliveriesForAutism/

Overhaul

I did a bit of an overhaul today. Not only did I change this blog, but I also changed the cover photo, profile photo on facebook, changed everything on my Storenvy Storefront and my main website. I am really happy with the way my new logo came out. I worked on it for about 2 hours. I am obsessed with owls and yellows. This owl is completely made from scratch, piece by piece and it's girly, so I love that too. I was also sure to add in the herringbone pattern, it's also one of my favs!

You can visit my website and my store front via the links below.

2015 Relay For Life Shirt Design

A lot of people know that for the last 6 years, a bunch of our family and friends have been participating in the Scioto County Relay For Life. Our team, Venturers For A Cure was started in 2010. We were at first called Mission Scouters because most of our team consisted of Scouts since my Uncle is a troop leader and because a few people from our church(Sacred Mission Church) were also members. We ended up using the name Venturers For A Cure our second year and it stuck.

"Venturers or Venturing, is a program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women. Members must be at least 14 years old, or 13 years old and have completed eighth grade, through age 21. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.

Venturing is based on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth, adult leaders, and organizations in their communities. Local community organizations establish a Venturing crew by matching their people and program resources to the interests of young people in the community. The result is a program of exciting and meaningful activities that helps youth pursue their special interests, grow, develop leadership skills, and become good citizens. This definition seemed fitting for our Relay For Life team so we added the "For A Cure" to the end and it just stuck.

Every year since we started, I have designed our shirts and we have chosen a different cancer to represent and raise awareness about, while using the designated color for that cancer. In 2010, we used Gray(Brain Cancer) and Orange(Leukemia). In 2011 we used Pink for Breast Cancer(supporting our Grandmother who has since become a survivor) and in 2012, Purple for Pancreatic Cancer. 2013 we chose a racing theme for our tent site and used Lung Cancer which is white. We had checkered flags on our shirts. Last year, 2014, we did a Dr. Seuss theme and represented Childhood Cancer, using Gold and Purple, which is typically used for Neuroblastoma.

This year, Relay For Life was celebrating 30 years and our county chose to go a long with the 80's. Our team chose to do Super Mario Brothers for our theme because it was born the same year that Relay For Life was, 1985. We represented Lymphoma and wore lime green shirts. I thought I would share with you, the design we had for our shirts. So far, this is one of my favorite designs for Relay For Life!
